Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Bamboo platform and services (the "Services") provided by Ado, Inc. d.b.a. Bamboo ("Bamboo"). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

Because Bamboo helps you build and operate agents that act through systems you connect, you are responsible for how your agents, routines, and connected accounts are used. This policy describes uses that are not permitted.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Services, or enable an agent or routine, to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others
  • Upload or process data you do not have the right to provide, or for which you have not obtained necessary consents
  • Generate or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that exploits or endangers minors
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or communications that violate anti-spam or telemarketing laws
  • Engage in fraud, deceptive practices, or impersonation
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, rate limits, usage limits, or safety features of the Services or of any Connected Platform or Underlying Provider
  • Attempt to defeat, evade, or manipulate the content or safety controls of any AI provider
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or models underlying the Services, except to the extent permitted by law
  • Access the Services to build a competing product, or to benchmark without our written consent
  • Introduce malware, or use the Services to gain unauthorized access to any system or data
  • Use the Services in any manner that violates the terms or policies of a Connected Platform or Underlying Provider

2. High-Risk Uses

The Services are not designed or authorized for use as the sole basis for decisions in high-risk contexts where failure could lead to death, personal injury, or severe physical, financial, or legal harm — including medical, legal, financial-advice, employment, credit, housing, or safety-critical decisions — without appropriate human review and independent verification. You are responsible for ensuring an appropriate level of human oversight for your use case.

3. Responsibility for Agents and Connected Accounts

You are responsible for the configuration, permissions, approvals, and actions of the agents and routines you operate, and for the credentials and accounts you connect. Where you enable automatic approval, you remain responsible for the resulting actions. See the Customer Operation Principle in our Terms of Service.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to the Services, remove content, or disable agents or connectors that we reasonably believe violate this policy or pose a security, legal, or operational risk. Where practicable and not prohibited by law or the circumstances (such as an active security threat), we will provide notice.

5. Reporting

To report a violation of this policy, contact us at abuse@withbamboo.com.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
