Ado, Inc. d.b.a. Bamboo ("Bamboo", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to respecting your data rights. This policy explains how you can request deletion of your data and what to expect from the deletion process.

Your Right to Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data and Customer Data at any time. This right is provided under our Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement, as well as applicable data protection laws.

What Will Be Deleted

When you submit a verified deletion request, the following data will be permanently deleted:

  • Account Information: Your profile, credentials, and account settings
  • Customer Data: All advertising and marketing data imported into Bamboo
  • Usage Data: Your interaction history, preferences, and configurations
  • AI Conversation History: Any queries and responses from AI-powered features
  • Files and Uploads: Any documents or files you have uploaded

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained even after a deletion request for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes:

  • Transaction Records: Billing history and payment records (retained for tax and accounting compliance, typically 7 years)
  • Legal Compliance: Data required to comply with legal obligations or respond to legal processes
  • Dispute Resolution: Data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements
  • Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot be used to identify you
  • Backup Copies: Data in backup systems will be deleted according to our backup retention schedule (typically within 90 days)

How to Request Deletion

Option 1: Online Request Form

Submit a deletion request through our online form below. You will need to verify your identity before the request is processed.

By checking this box, you confirm that you understand all your data will be permanently deleted and this action cannot be undone.

Option 2: Email Request

Send a deletion request to data-requests@withbamboo.com. Include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account
  • A statement requesting deletion of your data

Option 3: Account Settings

You can initiate a deletion request directly from your account settings within the Bamboo application.

Verification Process

To protect your data from unauthorized deletion requests, we require identity verification before processing deletion requests:

  1. Email Verification: We will send a confirmation email to the address on file
  2. Account Verification: You may be asked to confirm account details
  3. Additional Verification: For sensitive requests, we may require additional documentation

Deletion from Subprocessors

When we receive a verified deletion request, we will also instruct our Subprocessors to delete your data. This includes:

  • Supabase: Database records and associated data
  • AI Providers: Any cached conversation data
  • Windsor.ai: OAuth tokens and cached advertising data

Please note that deletion timelines may vary slightly among Subprocessors, but all deletions will be completed within the timeframes specified above.

Effect of Deletion

Once your data is deleted:

  • Your account will be permanently closed
  • You will no longer have access to the Services
  • Historical reports and analytics will be permanently lost
  • Connected advertising platform integrations will be disconnected
  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the Services in the future

Partial Deletion

If you wish to delete specific data rather than your entire account, contact us at data-requests@withbamboo.com. We can assist with:

  • Deleting data from specific connected platforms
  • Removing specific date ranges of data
  • Clearing AI conversation history while retaining other data

Data Export Before Deletion

We recommend exporting your data before submitting a deletion request. You can export your data through:

  • Account Settings: Use the data export feature in your account dashboard
  • API: If you have API access, you can programmatically export your data
  • Support Request: Contact us to request a data export
